Keyboard Classes

The following courses are for new students, only.  If your child has had prior musical training or if you have any questions, please feel free to contact our school ( 818-248-2789 ) for information on which class would best suit your child's abilities.

HARMONY ROAD

(ages 4 1/2 through Kindergarten)

This courses is carefully constructed for the parent and child to participate in keyboard, rhythm instruments, singing, ear training, note reading and movement activities.  It is a sequential eight semester course especially designed to develop your child's natural talents.  Composing, improvising and transposing skills are also explored.

Thursdays at 4:30 - 5:25, beginning February 28

YOUNG MUSICIAN

(grades 1 through 3)

Just as with the Harmony Road Course, this course is carefully constructed for the parent and child to participate in keyboard, rhythm instruments, singing, ear training, note reading and movement activities.  It is a sequential eight semester course especially designed to develop your child's natural talents.  Composing, improvising and transposing skills are also explored.

Thursdays at 5:45 - 6:35, beginning February 28

KEYBOARD PREP

(grades 4 through 6)

This class is for 3rd and 4th graders who are studying the piano or keyboard for the first time.  The student's basic musicianship is developed through ear training, ensemble playing, singing, improvising and composing.  We invite you to view your child's progress.

Day and Time TBA

PIANO STREET

(grades 7 through Adult)

The older beginner is invited to join a piano - keyboard class which includes solo and ensemble playing, music reading, theory and ear training.  Improvisation and composition are also part of this program.

Beginning TBA

All of the above classes are 55 minutes in length.  Tuition is based on a 21-week semester.  Discounts are available - please contact us for details.  Click here for our registration form.  Places are limited and guaranteed only upon receipt of the registration form accompanied by the receipt of the deposit.
